Thanks for the ideas. Now it's time to design and build a hoist. I'll post some pictures when I get it done.

 

I'm thinking you make the system on tracks mounted on the ceiling that run to the wall (like a sliding barn door setup). Hoist the doors up, slide one to the wall and the other a little ways away from the jeep. Pull out of the garage and slide the other over next to the first one. Buy or make storage bags to fit over the doors while they're suspended and you're good to go.
