Removing doors
in re-reading the original post i just wanted to make sure the original poster knows that you only have to remove the two bolts on each door on the bottom of the hinge itself and the doors lift right out.....it appears to me by the nature of the question he may think that you have to remove the four bolts that actually attach the hinges to the door itself....you don't have to remove the hinges from the doors or from the jeep......they remain in place and if you look up under each hinge you will see a single bolt that needs to be unfastened and that's it......i don't even put those bolts back in and couldn't tell you where they are currently since taking them out the first time.....sorry if i misinterpreted the question and don't mean to insult anyone's intelligence, just wanted it to be clear because i have seen that question asked before by those who have never done it and don't realize how easy it is....otherwise, what everyone else said and enjoy the freedom and the breeze....

Here's another tip I've never seen mentioned before.
When removing the doors for the first time, they can be VERY snug. It helps TONS if you have a shop rag in the hand you use to lift from the bottom.....trust me. You have to muscle them off at first and the rag allows you to put more "ooomf" into it before your hand starts to feel pain from the bottom door edge.

I put mine back on yesterday, it's easy. Easier than taking them off actually.
Sad to see everything put back on... but it's starting to rain more and more lately and we're looking at some traveling across the country in the next few weeks. It was nice while it lasted.
I did remember to get some white grease for the hinge pins, they slid right on.
