I want to be able to keep it stock and dont want to cut the cable and splice in another. But looks like the cable is integrated into the harness. Has anyone changed out the cable and what all is involved?
I am stuck working and away from the jeep so just trying to get some ideas before I resign myself to cutting that cable.
The jeep is a stock 2012 JKU.

Reason doing this is if you look at the side of the terminal there are 2 bands that clamp around the post. One of the bands has cracked and broke. It still cranks fine but I am wanting to keep it that way.
I also will be adding a winch soon, so a replacement with a terminal post that I can attach the winch cable to would be nice.
