Default Replacing Valve Stem

Today as I was putting air in my tire the tip of the valve stem broke off.The core is now exposed.Has anyone replaced the valve stem?Cost? Is it possible to put regular valve stems in all of the tires and eliminate the tpms?

I just got a rebuild kit for one of my valve stems, because the nut part holding it to the wheel cracked in half.

The rebuild kit was cheap, only a few $, but it only included an o-ring, mounting nut, and cap. I think to replace the actual stem you'll have to buy a new sensor.

You can install rubber stems and get rid of the TPMS, but the TPMS light will light up on the dashboard. You can deal with it or get an AEV Procal and disable it.

The dealer quoted me a price of $80.00 to replace the stem and program it.Tire shops used to put new valve stems in when you bought new tires. For free.
