Default Is this right?

Attached is a pic of the center seal on my right freedom top. I have been having some leak issues and am wondering if I should be able to move the seal away from the side of the top as easily as I can. It is very secure on the bottom but it seems like this not being sealed on the sides provides a nice channel for water.

Default Is This Right

Steve I Just Went Outside And Removed My Left Top And Inspected My Centerseal. It Appears To Be Exactly Like Yours. I Don't Think Your Drip Is Coming From Water Channeling Along That Seal. Look Inside Your Windshield Their Are 3 Painted Loops, The Middle One Is Below The Seam Where Your Tops Meet. Take A Strong Flashlight And Put It Facedown On The Roof Above This Area. Get Inside And Lightly Push Up The Tops At This Spot. Look Carefully,if You See Any Light Then Your 2 Flip Down Latches Need To Be Tightened Up. The Painted Loops Are Mounted With T25 Torx Screws . Loosen These 2 Screws And Move The Bracket Down 1/16''. Do The Left Side Only First. Water Check Your Tops By Misting Them Lightly With A Hose. Try To Duplicate A Gentle Rain. A Fast Stream Of Water Many Times Will Not Leak. If There Is No Adjustment In Your Brackets Then Wrap Them In Cardboard Etc And Ever So Slightly Bend The Bracket Down With Pliers. Remember To Do Minimum Movements At A Time, Too Much Adjustment Will Cause You As Many Problems As It Cures. I Hope Pm Goes Thru!lol Gary...
