Default Road salt/slush and soft windows

What is the best way to clean the winter road crap off the windows? I searched bit, but I'm wondering if anyone has a good system they keep in their Jeep?

Not the end of the world but it did cross my mind as I was driving to work today looking at the highway behind me transform into a van Gogh like scene.

For years I have just used warm, (Not Hot!) water and a soft sponge. No soap or other cleaners. In the winter, soap/cleaning agents tend not to get washed off throughly when quickly washing plastic windows. This can lead to fatigue, drying out and cracking. I learned to rely on the side view mirrors since the back window gets mucked up quickly

Wash it often, spray with soap, rinse the hell out of it. Whatever you do, don't use a squeegee...

38 Grit sandpaper works pretty good...

J/K.....as the others have said....lotsa warm water....I have found that if you polish them good before the winter sets in they spray off real easy....at least the first few snows....

Warm water and sponge it is then. I'll probably add a sponge and small bucket to the back just so I can clean it if I have to when I'm not at home.

thanks.

really soapy warm water and a dedicated sponge that you used just for the windows.. wash side to side. scratches are less visible that way.
