Default Roll Bar Cover Replacements

Greetings. My 2007 JK spends a lot of time with the soft top down, and unfortunately, my roll bar pad covers have gone from black to gray, likely due to lack of a UV protection. I've looked around for replacements, but cannot not find any online.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, hopefully to some with UV protection?

tks SRM

Fell lucky, my gray ones are turning a pinkish color, uggh. I haven't seen any good aftermarket replacements yet.

Whatever you put on will fade. The sun effects everything. I spray my interior every month in the Summer with UV protectant which keeps fading on the roll bar covers, carpets and everything else to a minimum.

Maybe take them off and repaint them with Fabric paint? then treat the fabric with some type of UV sealant like the ones you can use on your laundry?

What UV protectant are you spraying?

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. It has worked great for almost 2 years.

When I had my TJ, I took the pads off at the end of every summer and would take them to a laundermat with the largest package of black dye I could find and dye them. Hence why I took them to a laundermat. Seemed to work well to get them back to black.

I'll bet the poor schmuck who used the washer next was singing your praises.

I have been planning to put mine though the wash with a pack of the Rit Dye from the grocery store...hum glad I read the post about the landromate...I would have had to run several empty loads to get all the dye out. What kind of dye di you use?

Anybody got any better suggestions in the next three weeks I would be happy to read about it

I used 303 every summer (a couple times per summer) but they still faded. So I pulled them off completely. I'm going to spray bedliner on the rears to make them match my front rollbars now.
