Default Rough Country 4" short arm lift 2dr

I am looking hard at this lift for my Sahara and want to know if anybody has installed and had used off road.

Building my Jeep for a Rubicon run next summer and have had a 4" RC lift for my older Toyota and liked it alot. Thoughts please

Well my experience is this with a two door
When you go higher than a true 4 inch lift
Must haves in a two dr
Driveshaft front recommended Rear
8 arm for correct geometry and I'll debate anyone on this. Higher than
Draglink flip kit
Front and rear trackbars
Extended rear end links

For a 2 dr I've heard the rear ds goes out before the front

If you want a great riding two door shoot for a good 3 inch long arm and if you need added clearance put on a set of flatties and or 1 inch body lift

The kit does come with new track bars. As for the drivelines I should be fine for daily driving until next summer before extreme wheeling right? I have a 2dr btw.

ok i checked out the lift and it looks pretty decent minus the front drive shaft as they mention. I recommend any driveshaft with nepco or spicer u joints as in coast driveline has. I was wondering if you are going to regear at all or what size tires are you looking to install?
I recommend if you go over 3 inch suspension you should also be looking at a drag link flip kit as well.
Are you just going to just 35 inch tires? what are you looking at purchasing?

yeah because your a 4 door or two door? you have a 2door pic but your profile says x unlimited?
Plus do you disconnect or are you running short front end links? Whats your shock length. See all these are factor, If your running 3 inch or under or short links or shocks it will help keep your front shaft from rubbing

I am wanting to go 4" lift, 35" tires, 373 gears right now, later wanting 4:88. Six speed tranny, wanting e lockers front and rear, have open diff in front and LSD in rear.

Wanting to spend 4 grand or less of possible before next season at the Rubicon Trail.

Been something I have wanted to do for a long time and finally I have my Jk and want to go badly but I want to be prepared and have one hell of a off roader for a person with a limited budget.

Thoughts
