RPM's staying up
Has anybody noticed that when shifting at higher RPM's, the RPM's don't fall as you let off the throttle and depress the clutch. It almost seems like you still have your foot on the acc. pedal a little. I'm sure this can't be good for the clutch and trans. in the long run. Anybody else have this problem.
OK? Heaven forbid you ever tack it up, like say climbing a wet, muddy hill, with a large root protruding out from the top lip. It took forever (clutch engaged) to get the rpms back down again. Hopefully one of these tuners will have a fix for this.
Yep, darn "throttle by wire". It really annoys me too. It feels like the Jeep has a 500 pound flywheel or something. Jumping from a sports car with a really light flywheel to the JK is tough. I always feel like a total shifting retard for a while when I switch from one to the other. Not to mention the really long shift throw to really short shift throw, etc.
