Default Rubi front disco destroyed.

Well somehow I managed to destroy my front disco. The cover for the controler is busted, the plug is in pieces, not sure it there is other damage internally, and the dash light is flashing.
I don't want to deal with the stealership on this so.....
Should I try and replace the entire thing or,
replace it with a solid swaybar and mechanical disco's like I have on my CJ?

I was going to point you to pigs eDisco for sale, but I see you've PMed him.

If you do replace your current one, you might want to think about rotating it up.

Not to slam anything Currie because just their web site makes me , But this...

"This Sway Bar may be used on the street, however it will not provide the same performance as the stock setup."

...and the fact that the OP live in Queens leads me to believe they dodge more idiot taxi drives than boulders.

Now back to look at those JK ROCKJOCK D60's

It's different, but once you get used to it you can dodge with the best of them. I found that the better you have your suspension dialed, the less you notice it. I usually have to dodge deer and elk instead of taxis and it works just fine. Then when you get off road, it's amazing.

TeraFlex will have the S/T Swaybar coming out soon. I have one on my JK right now. I just turn the knob and it's disconnected. Gives me a firmer ride on the road.

from what I've read and seen, the stock location for the motor leaves it pretty vulnerable, if you do replace it, definately listen to eDiveBuddy and jkkat, rotate it up and outta harms way...

Teraflex...I just had a peak at your older TJ S/T sway bar and it looks pretty slick, love the idea...price wise it might be outta my reach when I can just install your manual discos for I'm guessing 1/5 the price....but I'm gonna wait to see more on this
