Default rubicon diff fluid

i am putting on riddler covers this weekend. i plan to use the recommended weights in the maual. havent looked them up yet but i think its 80-90 frotn and 75-140 rear. my question is if the rubicon requires a friction modifier? i know the lockers doent need a modifier but does the rear had any kind of limited slip that needs it? thanks

75W90 up front and in the rear unless you tow - then you'll want 75W140. A lot of people put 75W140 in the rear either way, but I don't.

You do not need the LS additive on a rubicon, its only for limited slip differentials - hence LS. A lot of synthetics already have the additive though, and it won't hurt anything.

Rubicons have locking differentials, not limited slip differentials.
