Default rubicon locker actuator died please help

so after lots of research and testing i have figured out that the actuator in my axle is toast. when i hook the locker directly up to 12volts it kind of moves but doesn't have enough power to lock. i can lock the axle by pushing the ring in with my hands and everything is functioning smoothly. .
has anybody been able to repair the actuator without buying a whole new locker from the dealer.
