Those are the people all the electronic control is for. It's the majority of the market, unfortunately.
Agreed. It's also much harder to sense slip with these drive by wire throttles, especially when paired with an automatic. The easiest vehicle I have driven in the snow was my 4 cylinder YJ because you could feel everything single thing that it was doing through the steering wheel and throttle.

I've been switching it on and off and when I feel like being more carefree/lazy I do enjoy the TCS.

Which supports my theory that most people can't drive. Personally I like to put it as close to completely sideways around corners as I can when there is noone around, if there are other people around I am tame but for me most of the ENJOYMENT in driving is the actual DRIVING.
