Default Rubicon Transfer Case ?

In '07, could you order a Sahara with a Rubicon transfer case?

No I don't think you could order the Rubi Transfer case in 07 on the X or Sahara. It is also interesting when you go to the Mopar parts online it show's the 2007 X & Sahara & 2007 to 2011 Rubi having 4:10 gear's in front & 4:11 gear's in back. Only when you have the 3:21 gear's & 3:73 gear's are they listed both Front & Rear.

That's got to be a misprint.
It's in the factory parts book, too.
Here is a copy/paste of what it says on two different pages regarding the front axle:
[DMF]=4.10 AXLE RATIO
[DMF]=Axle Ratio - 4.11

The same disparity appears on the pages regarding the rear axle.

Ok, thanks. There is someone selling a transfer case and says it's from an 07 Sahara but the tag on it says it's 4 to 1 ratio. Maybe the previous owner of the Jeep swapped it out.

The list you show says the front is 4.10, and the rear is 4.11, correct?

I have actually counted the teeth on the front and rear ring and pinion sets.
Each has 41 teeth on the ring gear, and 10 teeth on the pinion gear.
It would take a different number of teeth on both the ring and pinion to come out to 4.11.
That's why it looks like a misprint to me. Like I said, the factory parts book also shows the two different ratios. I don't know why.
Has anyone seen a different tooth count on the front and rear JK gears?

Yes that is correct.If you look only for the ring & Pinion Set's they show 4:10 Front 4:11 Rear.
The only time they say anything about 4:10 in rear is on this link
Universals & rear axle /Rear axle/ Axle assy:
Axle assy, wrangler, w/4wd, w/heavy duty, w/4.10 ratio 08-11 $2,760.00 $1,903.25

PS/ You can also use the link-
Rear suspension/ Axle housing/ 4.11 ratio:
W/tru lok - 4wd - 4wd 08-11 $650.00 $448.50
