Default Running Hot

As long as i have owned my JK it has ran exactly halfway on the temp gauge until last week...I noticed it was running about 3/4...at first I thought it was just the thermostat, easy fix but the problem continued. Next i checked for leaks and found none, so I replaced my water pump. The blades on the old one were a little worn but not bad but my jeep still runs hot. I have checked for any debris that might restrict the airflow. My radiator "fins" are bug free and open, and my fan still runs as it should. I dont know where to turn to now. Any suggestions?

I doubt its the temp sensor, my gauge says dead center, but my aeroforce gauge shows temp changes from 180-224 (peak was on loose sand, trans got up there as well! ) and the dash doesn't budge or light up. I haven't seen my coolant temp gauge move past half way, so I don't know how hot 3/4 must be, but it's more than 224*F which is pretty hot already.
Not a solution but gives you an idea of the damage it is likely causing if not remedied.
