Default Rust Prevention

Found this stuff a couple years ago thought I would pass it on. I get under my vehicles every year with about 6 cans and I have NO RUST. Not even surface rust.

Check it out!

Thanks! This state is the "Salt Capital of the East" I'm always looking for ways to keep it from eating my Jeep . Do you apply it in the Spring or Fall ? (I have been using " Rust Cop " and they suggest Spring )

I do the same with but with another CRC product. CRC Marine 6-56 this is what we use in the pwc world to prevent rust and corrosion in the engine bay. I have a PWC that is a 2001 with 160 hours in saltwater with NO rust. Get you self a gallon of this it is probably much cheaper and a good industrial spray bottle and go to town like there is no tomorrow it will not hurt anything. Do all electrical wires everything and then some.

Here's a link to.

Yea the 656 is great. I like the Marine Corrosion inhibitor because it dries to a wax like substance. Almost like undercoating, but I don't like the idea of permanent undercoat.

I apply winter and spring.

how long will the 6-56 last under the jeep before another application is needed. would fall and spring application be enough? also, does the heavy duty inhibitor collect a bunch of road grime buildup or not?

I do it monthly, but the 6-56 is less flammable and also has a wider working temp. The corrosion prohibitor is listed as extremely flammable so for people using it i would think twice about where you are spraying that.
