I recently took off my windshield corner brackets and was shocked to see both are rusting. The jeep is an'11.

The rust is primarily around the holes for bolts.

I know rust is like a fungus and can spread quickly. Do you think the dealer would cover this under warranty? Any suggestions to keep it from spreading?

I would just take it to the dealer with an insistant question and see what happens. I know several people that have had door hinges repainted under warranty. I don't know why the windshield bracket would be any different. If they say no, ask them when the regional rep is comming and see if you can schedule with them. Cars 1 year old should not be rusting, but my 09 jeep was the same way, I just didn't care enough to fix it. Good luck.
