Default Sahara Bumper

Is it possible to remove the silver piece on the Sahara bumpers and have it look like the rest of the bumpers?

here was my front Sahara bumper after I took off the silver piece. it was only a few screws holding it on. I put on HiRock bumpers and took pics of the process.

great thanks. I had an 07 Sahara Wrangler 2dr but had to sell a few months ago so I have been driving this older truck and hope to get back into a jeep in the fall. I wanted a Sahara but hate those front peices.

Is there a lot of differences between an 07 and an 11 sahara which will probbaly be out by the time im ready to buy. I had one very first I purchased November 2006

i have an '08 Sahara, the silver covers screw right off on the front bumper. now, you'll actually need to unbolt the back bumper in order to take the cover off.
its a 10 minute jub
