Default Saraha Fenders

Has anyone taken off their nice shiny painted Saraha fenders and replaced them with regular black plastic ones? I just don't want to mess up the painted ones.

The paint on the whole jk is pretty thin, Give it some time and the paint on your fenders will be the least of your worries. They do have them from time to time in the For Sale section of this forum, if you want some regulars to beat up. But then in about a year you want wanna put those shiny fenders on a paintchipped scratched up jk.

Yep, I did this a couple weeks ago. I'll post a couple before and after pics later.

no offence intended but, can I ask why you went with the Sahara instead of the X? Could have saved yourself some coin...I don't want to start the whole X vs Sahara debate....but it's bound to happen

i have a sahara, wrecked a oem painted flare, went the xenon route. all the xenons cost less than replacing 1 painted sahara flare with Mopar parts plus paint... oddly after having the xenons for about a month I got my hands on an already painted sahara flare that matched my jeep, go figure....

Ditto on the replacement cost - I wrecked my driver's side front flare, and the replacement cost through my dealership with paint was WAY more than the Besttop flares I bought... now I have flares that stick out further, which is great for my aftermarket tires w/ spacers.
