Default Seal Leaking Jk Tops

I have seen a lot of threads on leaking MOPAR Tops...has there been a real fix to this or a recall form the manufacturer? Since I am not so fond of riding the JK with the top off, was thinking if it would be a good idea of just putting silicone rubber sealants to those breaks on the roof....its easy, and its not permanent so you can still take off the top when you want the wind in your face!

Sealing it may help, but it might also not make it sit flat either leading to leaks elsewhere.

Not fond of riding the JK with the top off you say?
