Default Seat difference 07-08?

Are there any differences in the front seats between 07 and 08? Also any difference in front seats between a 2 door and a unlimited?

I believe the answer is no to both. There were however, I believe, two different seats available for at least the 07/08 (at least) models. I believe there is a "base" seat and the YES seats. But.........you might want to confirm.

Yes there are differences. The 07's have a little silver box that works as a weight sensor for the airbag. You can see it from the side near the slider rails for the seat. If you set items on the seat but do not fasten the seatbelt you will get a chime. The 08's do not have this and rely on the seatbelt being fastend to determine air bag deployment in a crash. Not sure exactly when this change occured but it was sometime durring the 07-08 runs.

Seats are different... In 07 the rear seat folds down with levers on the top of the seatback. In 08 they moved to the pull tab at the base. Seat covers are not interchangable. sorry dude. And I believe the rear seats between the 2 and 4 door are a completly different animal. I don't know about the fronts.

Default Katzkins

Bought a set of new Katzkin leather covers off ebay for a 07 unlimited for $199-just used the front seat covers on my 08 2 dr. Took a piece of the rear covers and made a cover for my neoprene armrest pad. Sweet deal.
