Being an over-protective vehicle owner, I haven't let anyone drive the 2013 JKS I purchased in May until this morning.

As I've been the only one driving I've never had to use the seat height adjuster before. My friend who's quite a bit shorter than myself got in this morning to drive and the second he moved the adjuster handle it snapped off. When I contacted my dealer to make an appointment to claim the defect they told me it was something that was unlikely to be considered a defect as would be considered physical damage.
Needless to say I'm going to raise some serious sh*t if they don't repair this as a defective part. Should my dealer give me issues does anyone know who I as a Canadian customer would contact?

I would think this would be covered under warranty for sure, especially seeing as it is prob only like a 20 dollars or so piece.
