I've noticed this twice now. While driving on the interstate my dash security light comes on for a couple seconds. The light by the temp gauge. Any ideas why?

 

Not 100% , but I do believe that the security led light is also the same indicator for the wirelsss security sensor for the chip in your vehicle's key. I have not had mine come on wheile driving , but there has been times there was a delay to shutt off, but never stayed on while starting or engine running. It may indicate that there might be some early issue. If your vehicle starts having trouble starting up or shutting down after 2 seconds, have it check out, it only gets worse if let go too long. Just another stupid something to brake on vehicles today.
