I've got a 2010 it was doing this when I backed into my garage... slight incline... when i put the tranny cooler on, I changed my transmission oil to Amsoil and it stopped... I think it might be the tranny slipping a little.

I have a 10 JKU and if I start it and immediately throw it in reverse it shudders just a little. I figured it was because it sat all week and the transmission oil settled. It seems like if I let it warm up for about a minute it doesn't do it.

Hm...maybe a trans cooler and a flush might help. See what the dealership comes up with they called yesterday evening sending a Chrysler rep down to take a look at it. I'll post the findings, if any, when they are done.

Mine does it too if backing up an incline. Seems like a torque converter issue to me, and sounds like a common issue with these trannies
