Default LiteGrip shift knobs

Install of LiteGrip Shift Knobs.

Factory knobs just pull straight off. LiteGrip knobs push directly on, then tighten set screw.

A friend of mine failed NJ inspection because they had a "rock knob" with no shift pattern. The "inspector" said the shift knob has to have the pattern on it.

Here's my rockknobs

I ended up drilling out the shaft under set screws so that they would set flush with the shifter ring. Those puppies are sharp, and can slice a finger. You don't need to do it for the transfer case.

I'd love to see where that's in the law and find out who made it a law, obviously they coudn't drive a stick.Fortunately I live in AZ, where just about anything goes.

OK, I need to know how Capt Dumbass justifies the lack of a shift pattern on the knob makes the vehicle unsafe.
