shifting on second gear

shifting on second gear
Hi guys,
Is anyone have a hard time to shift on the second gear because I do, my jeep has only 5 k and I find it weird that it doesnt shift smoothly enough to me. It looks like the shifting on the second is smoother when the engine get to the normal operating temperature. My concern is more like how is it going to be when I will have 50 k of mileage, does anyone have any advise on this issue since i didnt find any thread on this yet.
