Default Shock treatment

I have a new Sahara and every time I get out of it and try to close the door I get some shock, whats up with that? anyone else have this issue? can you stop it?

It's winter time and a bad time for static! Make sure you touch the vehicle before you pump your gas!

Get a bottle of static guard spray. Spray it on your seats and it'll take the static electricity off you body when you get out. But you need to respray often. Not sure if that works for leather seats tho.

Give them a quick wipe with a dryer sheet now and then and that should help.

I have not noticed this to any degree with my 2011 cloth interior. I will try the dryer sheet fix to assure this does not become an issue.

LOL, I keep a can in my JKU because it's so bad........ My wife thinks it's hillarious..... but she's not the one getting zapped 3-4 times a day!!

I have also noticed this! Sometimes its just a little shock but sometimes its a pretty beefy shock that makes me flinch hahaha

I have noticed certain shoes make a difference also, running shoes i get zapped all the time, but when I wear my work shoes (steel toe and ESD) no zap.
