Synthetic coffee is better for getting you started, especially on really cold mornings. It cost more but you can go longer before you have to drain and refill the pot. The base coffee is brewed by skilled barristas who know how to formulate a clean and pure product. Some believe you have to start out the morning with conventional coffee and shouldn't switch to synthetic coffee until mid morning. Early formulations of synthetic coffees were blamed for leaky o-rings in the users but that turned out to be just a myth and could be traced back to cheap beer and Mexican food consumed the evening before.

since the dealer gives me free changes for life I'll stick with regular, but after reading this I'm going to switch the wifes car over to synthetic.
