Default Side Step-less

Anybody running without side steps or armor? Just wondering how it looks if anyone would be kind enough to share some pics.

I wouldn't run with nothing there. It leaves you very vulnerable to damage. I would pick up a set of Rubicon rock rails. You can pick up a used set fairly cheaply and they look good and are very functional

I ran mine without any protection on the sides for four years. I was always very careful as a result. I finally got some rubi rails a couple months ago. I actually think it looks better with them. My JK is white though and I really didn't like the naked look.

Bought my JKU sport without steps. Only thing I didn't like it that you clearly are looking at the frame underneath when you look from the side. The steps hide that.

If you wheel and currently have side steps...i would keep them untill you smash them (and you will) ive seen it happen a milloin times. As said before you can pick up used rubi rails for cheap and they give a very clean look there functional and plus they hide that awful pinch seam.
