Default sidemarker socket?

I tried replacing the bulb in my driver's side sidemarker but it still would not light. When comparing it to the passenger side there is a little piece of metal missing from the inside of the driver's side socket. Therefore, the bulb is not making contact and not lighting

I doubt this would be covered under warranty. Does anyone know a part number for the socket? Car Quest auto parts couldn't find anything on it... I suppose I'll try the stealership if all else fails.

Can you put a small thin piece of metal in there acting as a conductor?

no on the thin piece of metal. Missing items in a system or workmanship issues are warranty items. Take it in....

The question is "Does anyone know a part number for the socket". I cut mine off and now want to change back, where can I get them?
