Default Single Chime randomly on startup

Lately when I start my jk, maybe every 3rd or 4th time, I get one audible Chime. Same noise when you get an alert for TPS or change oil.

But its random, only 1 chime, and no indicators anywhere! Doors are on, closed firmly. Jk is running great..no issues...

any ideas?

Is your seatbelt on? Check all the dummy lights on the dash during the bulb check and make sure none are out and you're getting the audible alert but can't see the visual because of a dead bulb.

Like posted above keep an eye on the lights in ur dash. I got the oil light chime once at startup do to my anti-drainback valve being shot in my oil filter. I was parked on an incline facing up.

Tpms sensor chimes three times, so it not that but it is more then likely a blown bulb! so check on start up that ur lights all come one if one isnt there then thats it and take it to dealer to replace bulb free of charge

i thought these had led lights in the dash rather than regular bulbs

x2 on my anti-drainback valve. I had this happen to me when I was putting in Motorcraft oil filters. In my case though, when the single chime happened, you saw the oil light flash once quickly. What kind of oil filter are you running and when was your last oil change?

Not sure if led or incandescent, probably incandescent if I had to guess, but I've never had the cluster out to check. Either way, a dead light is a dead light.

You are correct.
The instrument cluster contains a Light Emitting Diode (LED) for each cluster indicator, the Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) units, and several LED units for general cluster illumination.

An "actuator test" can be performed to check all the parts of the instrument cluster.

1. Begin the test with the ignition switch in the OFF position.
2. Depress the odometer/trip odometer switch button.
3. While still holding the odometer/trip odometer switch button depressed, turn the ignition switch to the ON position, but do not start the engine.
4. Release the odometer/trip odometer switch button.
5. The instrument cluster will simultaneously begin to illuminate all of the operational segments in the VFD units, and perform a bulb check of each operational LED indicator. The VFD segments and LED indicators remain illuminated as each gauge needle is swept to several calibration points and back. If a VFD segment or an LED indicator fails to illuminate, or if a gauge needle fails to sweep through the calibration points and back during this test, the instrument cluster must be replaced.
6. The actuator test is now completed. The instrument cluster will automatically exit the self-diagnostic mode and return to normal operation at the completion of the test. The actuator test will be aborted if the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position, or if an electronic vehicle speed message indicating that the vehicle is moving is received over the CAN data bus during the test.
7. Go back to STEP 1 to repeat the test, if necessary.
