Default Skid Plates?

Ok so I know the JK comes with some skids right from the factory. My question is which ones and what is left open that is essential to cover?

Also for those of you with aftermarket skids, do you find the dealer has problems with them if they have to work on that area of your Jeep?

I would want something for the oil pan. If you do hard-core stuff, I would replace the gas tank skid with something heavier to. Skids for the emissions box underneath and the muffler would be good (or you can relocate them, etc). Lastly a skid for the sway bar disco is good if you have a Rubi. You can get into lots of other underneath body armor as well (diff covers and guards, steering box, etc)

Tomorrow I'm having a transmisison skid plate installed-- the factory 'skid' was bent after a trail adventure in April, and the factory part is way too expensive for what you get.

I'll post pics later this week once the work is done! I will say that if you're going to replace the transmission skid, it's best to get a model that replaces the transmission crossmember, rather than a bolt-on solution. The transmission crossmember isn't that sturdy.

Does the rockhard replace the tranny crossmember?

Mine is pretty bent up, and I'm looking to purchase some skid's.

I replaced the front plastic splash guard w/ a Mopar skid, also got the Skidrow oil pan skid and a skid for the fuel breather. I'm planning on replacing the factory gas skid at some point as well.
