Mine is parked outside most of the time. So far this year, the most snow it has seen on the top is about 15 or so inches. And some of that was a wetter heavy snow. I clean it off daily though. I would not let it build up. The top seemed to hold up to all the snow fine so far. I did drive with about 10" on top, but I ended up stopping and clearing it all off after hitting a big bump and seeing the top sag down with the momentum of it.

Mine is outside all the time up here in Alaska. So far it's gone/still going through 2 winters and no probs. It's also handled -40 below and no cracking. Other than those funky bar holders in the back that fall off sometimes, there's been no problems at all. And btw.....even at 40 below the heater keeps me warm inside that soft top.

I had a wet 8 inches of snow Monday, no problems, Sunrider too, just pushed it off with a broom. This is not a regular occurrence though.

My JK has duel-tops so no soft top outside in the winter, but before I bought my house, I had a new YJ soft top that sat out all the time in Iowa.
Just shy of the three year warranty, jeep replaced the soft top under warranty. It was cracking and tearing very bad. The dealer put on a Bestop. Nine years later, when I sold the YJ, the top was cracked, and worn at the seams, but still not too bad. It had been outside for five of those nine years. I don’t know how the JK soft tops compare, but it seems like the same material? The YJ’s black paint actually oxidized more than the Bestop wore.

I have an 07 soft top. And its always parked outside except when the top is down.

It will be two years old in April. No problems.

I use formula 303 on it regularly.

mine stays outside, top up or down... I just got this JK but my TJ tops would last about 2 - 3 years on average. I rarely have the top up so it doesn't take on too much sun

I've left mine outside with the top down -- lots of times at night where the dew gets inside the Jeep. A couple times it's experienced heavy rain. Aside from the horn getting stuck a couple times, all I had to do was pop the rubber plugs out of the floor and drain it.
