Soft Top Bow Bracket

Soft Top Bow Bracket Question?
I just bought a new second hand Soft top and I noticed the Bow bracket hole when attaching the rear top arms to them that there is a lot of play is this normal or is there suppose to be some kind of sleeve here is the bracket and the screw that attachs arm to bracket

Mike that's the screw to mount to roll bar right I'm talking about for mounting the soft top bracket arms to bracket

yes there is a lot of play on mine. 2008 JK, soft tops been on for four months.
I thought it was putting undue stress at first because when the top is down, the arm is seated at an angle to the bracket (like 15degrees off). But it seems to be holding up fine.

It's designed that way.
Last year towards the begining of fall, I picked up a gently used hard top. When I took my soft top off I too noticed play in the hinge/bolt assembly. Thought I was doing something wrong when I was removing the top. However when the soft top is up the pressure from the fabric and bows keeps the bars nice and snug.
It's normal and nothing to worry about.
