I have the same problem with my 2011, I wish I could get that cleaned up. Really thinking I should only go mudding with the hard top.

 

Simple Green + small brush = top without any stains, then 303.

^^ 303 is a protectant not a cleaner. its great against UV in sunny climates. WOrks great on line-X bedliner too

 

I bought the Bestop 3-pack cleaner/protectant kit after I noticed tree sap on my month old soft top. I used the cleaner multiple times (scrubbing with a tooth brush) and still have sap residue. As the summer ended I scrubbed the entire top and then treated it with the protectant and wow it looks brand new again (except for the sap). I used the window polish and made the mistake of following the directions by letting it settle to a haze. It wouldn't come off! It left swirl marks all over my windows and nothing would get them out. I called BT direct and no help what so ever. I treated the windows again and took it off within 10 seconds of applying it (two person job) and it finally took most of the swirls out but still left a residue. I recommend staying away from the Bestop cleaners, it'll save you a lot of time and hassle.
