Would it be possible to lengthen a 2 door soft top to fit a 4- door model?? How different are the soft tops,. between the two models

I am thinking of having a buddie of mine lengthen it, he is a professional upholstery guy.

Only reason I ask is because i just got a new 2-door softtop given to me.I'd love to make it work on my 4- door.

you're missing all of the necessary hardware, I'm sure, it's not just the fabric, sell it and get the right top.
