Default Soft Top Flappin?

I did a test drive of a sahara and a Rubi yesterday and during the drive of the Rubi...the dealer mentioned a bra? or boot? that would hold the soft top while it was down?? I did a search and came up with nothing.... and...is this gadget worth it? I always thought a bra went on the front of a car...and usually mustangs lol Can anybody fill me in as I am a jeep newbie...wannabe buyer!!

I bought the boot. It is a pain, but cleans it up nice. Wouldn't use to put up and down a lot, but if you plan on keeping the top down, but don't want to completly remove the top, then it would be nice.

So the boot bolts to the back of the jeep? and the whole top fits inside it?
Poles and all? at least I don't see the poles in the pic?

I don't own the boot, but from what it looks like, it just uses the channels that are already there for the sail panels to help it strap down.

As far as the support rods go, they actually fold down below the beltline of the jeep. While I'm sure that is a photoshopped image to make it look neater, I doubt the boot covers the rods as well.

Hi,

This what one looks like, for real.

Can be a bit of a bastard to fit, but looks good afterwards.

I have one and love it. It does not bolt anywhere. I goes under the seam like the soft top does when its up. It holds the whole back portion of the soft top.

Hey Bill, welcome to the site! That does look good. I've been thinking of getting one. I just took the hardtop off Saturday and of course now it's supposed to rain all week.
I noticed in your sig you have the Mopar rock rails, got any pics of those?

It can be a real pig if you don't get a real good fold of the roof, probably more so with the Unlimited top, but it does look clean afterwards. There are supposed to be two versions, one for the 2 door and one for the 4. I was thinking I got the wrong one but it looks similarly tight to the picture above when I have it folded down so it's probably right.

Default Mopar Rock Rails

Hi,

Photos as requested.

They look quite good but Mopar welding finishing leaves something to be desired.

They are very solid and easy to install.
