Default Soft Top frame loop for velcro tie down

OK - tried to search this on the forum for 40 minutes with no luck. Folded down the soft top for the first time yesterday and the final step in the instructions is to secure the soft top frame bars to the "body frame loop" using the velcro straps provided. Does anyone else NOT have this loop in the body frame? There are no empty "loops" in my frame where the instructions say theire should be. How do I secure the top once it's down from catching a good wind and flying away?

I have the 2 door and soft top and don't have any tie downs that I know of. I have folded my top down without securing it in any way and have never had any trouble.

I haven't seen any "loops" on mine. I just use the straps on the two spreader bars and it works fine.

Exactly... well I have one, but it has a threaded receiver built into it because that's what the hard top bolts down into ( I have dual tops) so it's not accessible for the velcro strap.

Sounds like it might not be essential to strap it down anyway.....?

You can actually pull the threaded receiver out. Just push down and pull it out.
