Default Soft top to Hard top info needed?

Do I need any different gaskets when switching from my soft top to a hard top? I tried to find a diargam of the tops and the parts, but couldn't come up with one.

You don't need anything extra other than the hardtop with 6 bolts and those special nuts that lock up under the tub...no extra gaskets nothing.

I took the top off of mine for the first time in March and did not see a gasket. The prior owner never had it off, and mine is also an 08. Do you have a part number on that?

I have a gasket along the top of the windshield, but didn't know if that one was used or another one was needed. We will find out soon. The top is due to arrive today.

Yeah, the one at the top of the windshield stays in place -I thought someone mentioned a gasket between the body/tub and the hard top (in the cargo area)

My 09 has no gasket between tub and top. There are seal kits that came out as a fix for leaks. Mine never leaked knock on wood. Maybe you have the seal kit installed.

No gasket on mine and I think the rear portion of the hardtop has 8 bolts... 6 in the back tub and 2 up on the roll bar above the driver and passenger doors. Also, you should have 2 large screws to tighten the freedom panels in the middle speaker bar.
