My jeeps is in the dealership right now getting a new headed and other parts to fix the leak issues on the soft top, I was just scheduled for a leak above the doors. The service manager rescheduled me and told me they had a rep from mopar coming down to deal with the soft top issues. He told me tonight that I was getting an updated header. I suppose to get mine back tomorrow. I'll know more then.

Cruise the forums and see for yourself how many people on here are looking out for theirself and others. I don't even have a prob with my header, but this could help alot of people out. The people you claim want to just walk in and already have their probs fixed probably don't even look at this forum. Don't wanna get in a pissin match, just was hopin for some pics, that's all.
OK MK you the tough guy for sure, ya, I was bragging. I think you have a problem reading, and then want to say I'm pulling your leg because I didn't get around to giving you pics when you wanted them. I've been straight up with you and everyone some people have other priorities prior to giving you what you want, even complimented you all on this board. I'm glad you feel so good about yourself.

For the others here, the part that gets replaced attaches to the plastic header bar that has the latches attached to it and it is basically the strip that makes contact with the seal, after it is installed on the top it isn't visible. I can take a pic of it but you won't see any difference, the pic I have taken is of the header contact with the seal and you can see how much farther it compresses the seal. as well because it is steel it isn't flexible like the old plastic one.

Another Pic. Also I have scaned the service order but it's over 3 megs and wont load, but even when I size it down to 100k it loads at only 7k for some reason. no more time to play with it.

"I'm glad you feel so good about yourself" Thanks for posting the pics, it does look like that header seals better. Even though I don't have a prob with mine, it does have a couple of bows in it that the one your showing doesn't have. Hell, I'm not a tough guy, just ask the former Israeli full contact champion Amir Perets.

Wow, that really clamps down. Mine has a bad warp to it, when I look to the side it looks like the damn golden arches.

I cannot wait to hear back from the parts guy!

Mine looks like an "m" too, hasn't started whistling yet though.

Well it's day three with mine in the shop. I guess besides the new header bar and seals they are upgrading the clamps for that it pulls the top closer to the front. The service manager called me today to explain what was going on, he said my top had about a 1/4 inch gap across the leading edge allowing water to run like a rain gutter. They said it would be done tomorrow.

The TSB I received from the dealership is 23-030-07 REV. A. It is a printout from alldatapro.com. it states that it applies to vehicles built on or between May 14 07 and August 24 07.
