Those *should* be included. As I said, the dual top option arrived with the soft top already bolted in place, just wrapped tight to fit it under the hard top.

I don't want to assume that the new kit would include everything needed... but I hope it's a valid assumption. I would think that if you ordered the hard top only, that there would be no brackets on the roll bars. You just pop open the velcro slit on the bars and you'll see two holes pre-tapped for the soft top bracket.

I looked in my roll bar padding and I do not see any holes that would take a soft top bracket. I found two slits in the fabric that seems to be the hole to insert the soft top there. But there's no holes?

I took another look in my roll bar on both sides in the approximate location that was in the picture (~8" up from the deck top and saw nothing.

I see a plastic bracket on the side that gives the roll bar its shape, some wires, a rectangular slot-like hole (presumably for reaching the seat belt bolt), and two stamped small hole "caps" (rivnuts?) that would take a tiny screw. I don't see anything that a soft top would bolt on from the back of the roll bar like the picture shows... Am I missing something?

I do have the two slits in the fabric for the bracket though. Maybe someone could snap a real quick picture and post it here for me to see?

Correct? ...
The header bar is built into the softtop.

There are two screws (for your two-door) with a large, plastic knob that hold the door surrounds in place.

The tailgate bar attaches to two plastic clips that snap onto the tub lip on either side of the tailgate (not to the tailgate, but to the tub area outside of the tailgate).

There are four small, Torx head screws that hold two brackets to the roll bar. They go into the two small holes you've found under that slit in the fabric.

There are Velcro straps for securing the Sunrider top open, and the rear window up.

so those tiny screw holes I found are the holes for the bracket! I thought they would be much bigger. just those two on each side?

Also - the tail gate caps - is there a proper way of installing it? the "c" section faces forward or backwards?

Correct? Any tips on installing it? I have a hard top on my JK and never had a soft top before...
I get mine from UPS today...

There are some decent how to operate videos on youtube, but I have not seen one on installing the other parts.

I have just been reading and re-reading the pdf for it on QT's site.

Thanks for those PDFs!!! And thanks for the pictures!!!

I hope the top is all assembled, so I won't have to do that myself ha. It is at my parents' home garage. Dad picked it up for me from someone in that town.
