Default Soft Top Leak Video

A quick very quick iPhone video I made hunting my leak.

Yup thats right. I just made that Time Lapse video of my soft top. And then we had the monsoon. And a ton and I mean a ton of water in my floor well drivers side.

Amazingly everything else was bone dry including the passenger side. So when the sun came out earlier I started comparing both sides and found this simple issue.

Hope this may help others with their leaking soft tops.

Nice video. Thanks for taking the time to share with others.

The reason you have more water than most is because of your leather. The rest of us just get wet arses LOL

Thank you. And you know that makes sense now that I think about it. My seat had water on top of it but wiping it off and it was dry. Some water bounced off the arm rest splashing onto the seat and center console.

Check out another 56 second video in a few minutes of the Rear Camera I had installed from the 430N Rear Camera Install Thread. Check out how installing a rear camera can save yourself from an accident.

Thanks for the video. On the foam weather stripping for the front where can I buy some at and what's it actually called? Found my first leak passenger side front door at the wind shield. It's all completely squished and flat just need to replace it.

Not sure yet. I am going to look later on mopar and ebay to see if that weather or factory weather striping and padding is available.

I might check Home Depot or Lowes but it has to be the dense foam and not the flimsy more spongy foam I would think.
