Soft top leaks THROUGH the material.
My brother in law's jeep was leaking above the sound bar where the top connects to the bar that runs cross ways on the top frame. The stitching started to pull away and you could see daylight through it. Might be a good place to check.
I had major leaks, to include having to pull all the carpet so it could air dry. The dealership changed the driver door seal and that mostly fixed the problem. At least I no longer have a lake under the rear seats.
Now I have to go and get some canvass repair done because of the seam above the soundbar. I can see daylight through the stitching.
Only another month or so and I will not have this problem, as the weather here in sunny san diego will have me topless until november.

And the people tend to over-tighten the soft-top door surrounds. All that does is pull the metal screw out of the plastic and weaken the seal.
LOL I didn't know this was already here on the forum, but here is the link to the water leak manual I have in PDF ....

I've used Seam Grip by McNett on my old '92 YJ top. It works well on small holes and stitch problems. You can mask it off for a neat looking repair. Although no one can see the top except really tall folks and birds. After that the 303 protectant will help the rain roll off and not wet through. If that doesn't work try Tent water repellent by Tectron. Again the idea is to get the water to bead up and not wet through. Try the dealer warrantee first b4 you void any warrantee that might be left. If there is no warrantee then you have nothing to lose.
