Default Soft top material repair?

Its actually for my soft door but I think its the same fabric as the soft top. There is a tiny tear about quarter of an inch, was wondering if there is a product available to fix it so that it doesn't continue to grow into a bigger tear.

maybe get a piece from Bestop? I actually just found a piece of what I believe is soft top material in the bottom of my center console when I cleaned it out for linex, its about 3x6in, I guess it came with my jeep I guess you can use it to patch a hole somehow Check the bottom of your console lol....if not and you want a piece I suppose I can cut off a piece and send it to you

I would take it in to an auto upholstery shop and see what they have to offer for options.

the cheap route would be one of those "iron on" patches that you stick behind the tear, sandwich with a towel and hit the face of it with an iron.

Ok thanks, I think I'll give an upholstery store a try and I'll also look into that patch you mentioned. The tear is really nothing but cosmetic at this point but obviously I don't want it to turn into something much worse.

TORN had a hail stone poke a hole in his top while chasing a tornado (I wish I had a cool story like that to tell when explaining why my hood is all beat up!). I know he repaired it, but don't remember what he used. You might PM him.

I got I think 3 or 4 small patches, I guess you'd call them in one of the boxes for the soft top.

I have no idea how you would actually use said patches though...

Default duct tape..super glue

a piece of duct tape on the bottom to hold it together...then super glue. When dry, you can take the tape off if u like. worked good on my tear that was about 1/2 inch.

I'm pretty certain that's how TORN repaired his--but with a kit he picked up for probably a lot less than $75.
