Default Soft top pulling up at the front

Soft top is pulling up right where it meets the windshield. It's getting worse over time. When I'm in the jeep, I can grab right above the mirror and hold it tight. When I let go, it pulls away. It's super loud now. I'd hate to put the hard top back on if I can't fix it.

I have the exact same problem. Last week it was really windy and I had driven about 250 miles on the highway when one of my clips popped off. I don't think it was clamped down right, but all of that wind resistance couldn't have helped.

I think this is what the newer style metal header is supposed to solve. I know there are a few threads out there with part numbers/write ups.

That's what mine looks like.

I bought a used soft top and its incredibly noisy and has the door handle leak, I just ordered the new metal header, hopefully fixes the problems

Use a crescent wrench and bind the hoop down. I had to do that on mine. '08 X

Pretty sure, he means the 2 spots where the clips from your soft top/hard top clamp down on the header area.

See if you can push them down towards the floor of your Jeep, which in turn would pull down the top as well, making it tighter.
