Default soft top question (again)

sorry if this has been asked before, I've seen mixed opinions on mixing/matching soft tops.

I have a 2010 jku rubi hard top. (Quite the upgrade from my 76 CJ). Anyway, been kicking around the idea of getting a sun bonnet for her. cat here in town is selling a 07 soft top in good shape for the same price as I could score a bonnet. So my question is, will it fit? Should I go for a newer model soft top? Any Pros/Cons I should know about? This would be used as a summer top primarily to keep the rain out should it rain. I don't really care if it leaks a little, its better than no top at all. I guess on that note, is 300ish a decent price for an 07 with door surrounds?

Thanks for any input.

As long as you get the surrounds it'll fit.
300 is a killer price, go for it! As long as the seals are clean and the door surround seals match up nicely you should be leak free.

Thank you for the reply. It was between this and a sun bonnet. I'm going to go check it out this weekend.

cheers

I would never buy the "sun bonnet" if you want a full soft top they can easily double as a Bakini top or a "sun Bonnet, plus you get the benifits of enclosing the jeep with windows if the rain gets crazy.

As stated above if you get the door surrounds and mounting hardware you should be good to go puting the 07 on the newer jeep.

I'm going to do a search but does anyone have a handy link to a photo of a soft top with all of the required parts and pieces laid out? There is an acquaintance at work that has a 2008 or 2009 dual top and she has never removed the soft top from under the hardtop and has no interest in the soft top. I am thinking of making her an offer for the soft top, including removal labor, and don't want to leave something needed behind.

Sorry for the Hi Jack
