Soft top rear window quest
Any more opinions on rolling the rear window up and putting the top down?
What about unzipping it completly and leaving it hanging on the inside of the tail gate (don't remove it from the bar across the tailgate).
This is my biggest headache about putting the top down. The two side windows I simply lay flat in the back but the rear doesn't fit flat so I have to roll it up and I have a tube that holds it in the back.

I basically unzip the rear window up either side, and around the corner, just past where the rubberized bands are. This way, it is not hanging by a thread, and I dont crinkle the window at all by putting on the bands. Now it basically hangs pretty straight, and is supported on either end. So far I have been doing this and it seems to work great!
Much easier!

When putting yoru tops down, do any of you just roll up the rear window, put the two bands to hold it up, and fold the top down with the rear window attached, rolled up. I've been doing it this way, and it doesn't seem to have adverse effects, and is MUCH easier than removing the whole back window.
Hey guys...about 3 Jeeps ago, I learned that you always zip from th passenger side to the driver side when taking out the back window..I forget about every other time, so don't feel bad...I've onlly had them for 35 years...make sure you line up those two little long thingamabobs at the end at the driver's side, and it works great...you'll soon discover the joys of lubricating the corners of the window zippers and other things...don't get discouraged...it's part of learning about "It's a Jeep thing...you wouldn't understand..."
