Default Soft Top Seam?

So, this is going to drive me crazy all day, until I can get back to my jeep to check it out again.

I just got her back yesterday for some leak and sunrider work. While leaving my jeep today and grabbing my back out of the backseat, I noticed at the seam a silvery set of dots. I was in a rush so I couldn't test it, but I'm thinking it was sunlight coming in .

Are the soft tops stitched at the seam? I though they were heat welded from earlier posts. Am I imagining things, or am I looking at possible new leaks???

Wayland,
It is sunlight. Just wait until the next big rain and feel above the soundbar. It will be wet. My top was replaced under warranty. BTW, it is a heat seal.

So, they're definitely pinholes, but I'm wondering if they'll even leak??? I tried pouring some water over the area, and they seems to keep water out. I guess I'll have to wait for the next rain storm to check it out

If you can't get it replaced, maybe use the same tape as manufacturers use on Gore-tex and other fabrics. Works well.

Trust me...they will eventually start leaking. In heavy rainstorms, a considerable amount will find its way in.

Eh, if it starts leaking, I'd rather have it replaced than having to wax it. At least while I still have a warranty
