Soft top storage ideas ..?
What do you all do about storing your soft tops when they are off the Jeep.
It seems like the summer is coming to an end and I'm thinking that it's about time to christen the hard top (I got the dual top but took the hardtop off and stored it in the garage as soon as I got home from the dealer).
I was just wondering what sort of solutions you guys have for storing the soft-top when you remove it. I've got the clover patch so I'll keep the windows in there - they're generally in there mostof the time already anyway.
What about the rest of it? - I have a soft top boot so was thinking that I could leave that on when I remove the soft top (to keep it all together) and then maybe zip tie the bows and things so they don't flop around and then maybe hang the lot on some big hooks in the garage.
Your thoughts and solutions (pictures especially) would be most welcome.
Thanks,
Steve

Hangs on bungee cords between the joists of my crawl space. Windows hung in an old sheet (to keep the dust down) by using those heavy black paper clips.
Like a bat awaiting spring, when it can unfold it's wings!

He didn't get it, but that's funny!
I saved the "boot" it came with. Wrapped it up and hung it from the wall in the garage. The windows are in between the cushions of our deck furniture, since they won't be coming out again this year either.
Well, I only havce a soft top but I do have two sets of windows (tinted and clear). I store my extra set of windows with 3 pant hangers - the kind that are two wooden blocks that clamp together and which allow you to hang dress pants by the cuffs to remove wrinkles. I clamp the two side windows just below the straigt fabric lip that tucks under the door surrounds. The rear window I clamp on the corner of the fabric.
The rear hangs on an angle and the sides hang vertically - both in my walk-in closet. (I have an apartment - no garage). I think it's probably a good idea to keep them inside. Oh, and I plan on running my clear ones in the winter and off-road and my tinted ones from spring through fall.

I wrapped mine up in the factory shipping boot (minus the windows) hung it in the winch harness I use for the hard top. Then cranked it up into the top of the garage, no mice, no salt from the cars. The windows are hung on the wall with spring clamps mounted on the wall and the door frames on hooks up from the floor.
