Soft top tight on one side - loose on the other
2011 Rubicon
I have been noticing noise at speed in my Rubicon, but have recently noticed that it is louder on the passenger side. Upon inspection, I have found that on the driver's side the soft top makes a clean connection with the windshield gasket, but on the passenger side it sits up about 1-2 millimeters. This would not seem like much, but it causes a fair amount of turbulence at 75mph.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Potentially a warranty issue worth discussing with a dealer? Looking at the gasket, there are no cuts and it seems in good shape. The main thing I see is that the fabric is not as tight to the frame on that side - but not sure how to correct that.
Love any thoughts.

No water leaks so far, and I have been in some serious squalls at speed. But I was at the Naval Academy this evening (or Jeep land) and looked at a bunch of Jeeps. None of the tops looked like mine. I'm going to have it looked at.
Thanks

check and see if the sail strap going from the top of the back door along the roof to the rear sail is twisted up, it should lay flat, that could cause it to pull to one side.

That looked good, but the latch on that side is much looser than the one on the driver's side. After playing with it a bit, I got it tighter - then the sun came out and I put the top down again
Maybe its a Jeep thing. I shouldn't obsess so much...

Figured it out, but now have to determine how to fix. The fabric on the passenger side has pulled out of the connection bar. I see lots of screws that connect the two pieces (?) of the bar, but am waiting until the weekend to take it apart and see if I can reattach the front of the top. I believe there is a connection point inside the bar that latches to the windshield. Can anyone confirm? Hate to spin out all of those screws and find no solutions.
